Apple steps up its effort to emphasize its economic impact

Tim Cook U.S. Jobs

Cook reiterated that point during the CNBC interview, along with Apple's claim that it has created 2 million jobs in the United States, 80,000 of which are directly at Apple and the rest coming from suppliers and software developers for the company's app ecosystem. For now, all Cook said is that the money will be used to create an "advanced manufacturing fund".

"By doing that, we can be the ripple in the pond", Cook continued. He said that if Apple succeeds in increasing the number of available manufacturing jobs in the United States, those jobs will lead to the creation of more jobs as a service industry builds up around them. CEO Tim Cook made the announcement last night in a CNBC interview with Mad Money host Jim Cramer, and he says that Apple plans to announce its first investment later this month.

"You can bet we're going to be hiring thousands of employees in the future, thousands more employees in the future", Cook said. Apple has already created two million jobs within the country and now hopes to expand the manufacturing sector. How do we grow our developer base?

Trump has proposed slashing corporate tax rates in a way that encourages businesses to bring some of those foreign-held funds back to the United States. And how do we grow manufacturing?

President Donald Trump might be able to live up to his campaign promise of creating more jobs for American workers if steps taken in the direction by tech companies Apple and Infosys are an indication. "You will see us bring things to market in all of those areas across this year".

Apple's move comes amid a rush by companies to respond to Trump's constant call to bring manufacturing jobs to this country - some companies have announced new, or sometimes nearly new, jobs alongside the president in recent months.

U.S. warns 'third country sanctions' on North Korea
Last weekend, he spoke with the leaders of Thailand, Singapore and the Philippines. He drew criticism in Washington on Monday when he said he would be "honored" to meet North Korea's young leader.

He said Apple has to borrow money to invest in the United States because it is a global company that could be forced to pay a more than 35 percent USA tax on money earned in the global marketplace.

It should be noted that Apple is not the only tech firm to tackle the issue of job creation in the United States.
