Jury expected to be seated for OH cop's murder retrial

Juror dismissed after Facebook post unearthed

Under questioning by Tensing attorney Stewart Mathews, the supervisor agreed that an officer who was planning to commit a murder probably wouldn't have done that.

The university police fired Tensing after he was charged.

Opening arguments are set for Thursday morning at a county courthouse in Cincinnati.

The shooting was caught on the former officer's body camera, the footage from which contradicted his claims that DuBose drove off and dragged Tensing in an attempt to get away.

CINCINNATI — A prosecutor has told OH jurors that evidence will show that the 2015 police shooting of a black unarmed motorist was clearly murder, while the defense attorney says the white officer shot to "stop the threat".

Officer Ray Tensing, 27, shot once, hitting Samuel DuBose, 43, in the head, body-camera video showed, after stopping him for a missing front license plate on his vehicle in July 2015. A mistrial was declared last November in the first trial after jurors could not agree on a verdict.

Trump lashes out at London's mayor, again
Asked if Trump was criticizing the mayor of London because he is Muslim, Sanders said that was "utterly ridiculous". USA lawmakers from both political parties criticized Trump for raising the travel ban and assailing Khan.

Mathews agreed that Tensing made a mistake by reaching into the vehicle. If there's time, the jurors will be taken to the scene where Ray Tensing shot Sam DuBose in 2015.

One excluded juror told prosecutor Seth Tieger on Monday that Tensing "deserved a medal" for shooting and killing unarmed black man Samuel DuBose, and also called DuBose a drug dealer.

The specific juror instructions will be given after testimony concludes.

Senate issues subpoenas targeting Michael Flynn's businesses
The Senate committee responded with two additional subpoenas on Tuesday targeting Flynn's businesses . Some Russians boasted about how well they knew Flynn.

Mathews said DuBose "wouldn't have ended up shot" if he had complied with Tensing's orders and hadn't attempted to flee.
