UT Grad, Zack Barth, Speaks to Good Morning America About Shooting

Williams' staffer shot at Congressional baseball practice; Williams injured ankle in chaos of shooting

One bullet struck his leg. Pumping with adrenaline, the 24-year-old raced to a dugout for cover.

"I think it's important because I think these people that want to destroy our lives and our livelihood here in America, they win if we give in", he explained.

"I got shot this morning at the baseball fields but I am in the hospital and OK", Barth posted on his page. Rep. Williams later confirmed that Barth was the aide who was shot and said he's expected to make a full recovery. "I heard the first shot and I thought maybe a vehicle had backfired, but then I heard the second, third and fourth and everyone yelled, 'He's got a gun".

"We were doing batting practice, there were a number of members and staffers fielding", Senator Jeff Flake told BuzzFeed.

That's when Williams realized Barth was among those shot, he said.

Halep misses another chance to win Grand Slam title
JELENA Ostapenko has completed an extraordinary grand slam fairytale, upstaging Simona Halep to win the French Open . However, she admitted that when she came across a grass court for the first time, it was hardly love at first sight.

Weatherford-area Rep. Roger Williams (R-Texas, 25) choked back his emotions as he recounted the situation. "Hats off to the U.S. Capitol Police for their heroic response", Bush tweeted Wednesday afternoon. The other officer suffered a minor non-gunshot injury to his ankle. Brady, like Williams, credits two factors: a locked gate that prevented the shooter from getting on the field, and thereby having a clear shot at players congregated near first base, and the valor of the U.S. Capitol Police force on the scene.

A single shooter opened fire while a group of Republican representatives practiced for the traditional bipartisan Congressional baseball game.

In a message to KHOU 11, Barth's father stated "We don't have any comment except to say that Zack is going to be fine. We're grateful for that and grateful again to the Capitol Police who saved us".

"Zack Barth who works for me was shot while he was retrieving balls in the outfield when I got into the dugout it wasn't ten seconds and Zack had come running from the outfield and he literally, we landed in each other's arms", Williams recalled.

"Without them, there would have been tremendous loss of life", Barth said. In a televised address, President Donald Trump said that the shooter, identified by multiple news outlets as James Hodgkinson, 66, of IL, died from his injuries in the shooting.

Iran blames Saudi for promoting "terrorism" in its borders
While Iran backs President Bashad al-Assad, Riyadh follows a US-led coalition for changing the regime with the help of insurgents. The fingers of blame were pointed at Saudi Arabia and the U.S. , who were accused of being behind the attacks.

Authorities are investigating a motive as to why Hodgkinson opened fire on the lawmakers.

As news of the shooting at the Republican practice broke, Democrats were preparing to practice too.

At a mid-morning press conference, law enforcement officials said it was too early to comment on a number of aspects of the shooting, including whether the lawmakers were targeted.

Thursday's game will be held at Nationals Park, where the Washington Nationals play.

Israel to reduce power supply to Gaza
Though Israeli politicians have argued for changing policy toward UNRWA, Netanyahu appears to have finally done so. Every month, Israel would dock money from that transfer to cover the cost of electricity supply in Gaza.
